For years running corporate eLearning has meant one thing: a Windows PC/Laptop at work or at home. But the rapid adoption of mobile devices is going to change forever the way staff study and work.

And the global figures are incredible. By the end of 2012, around 650 million Android devices will be in use, plus 200 million iPhones and 100 million iPads; that’s a billion online mobile devices, personal eLearning portals with audio, video & great graphics. Finally the ‘learn anywhere’ age has arrived!

To meet this growing demand, we’re very proud to have added Mobile eLearning development to our range of bespoke services. For the past year we’ve been

testing and adapting the ‘Storyline’ authoring tool from Articulate.

It’s an exciting time for TNA and for our clients! Why not come and see what we’ve been up to by visiting Stand 291 at the Learning & Skills show at Olympia on January 29th or 30th?

We’ll be showing mobile content that includes animated processes, interactive diagrams and a range of assessment techniques making full use of the latest iPad’s touch screen technology.

One of the big attractions of using Storyline is that we can publish courses in a format ready for device-independent delivery on mobile devices such as the iPad.
Please contact us for complimentary tickets to the Learning & Skills Exhibition and Seminars this January and visit us on Stand 291.

TNA to exhibit at ‘Learning & Skills’ 2013 http://www.tnanet.com/?p=328 http://www.tnanet.com/?p=328#comments Thu, 04 Oct 2012 09:20:49 +0000 chris http://www.tnanet.com/?p=328
We’ve blown hot and cold about exhibiting at these events but now we’re back with a bang at Olympia on January 29 & 30!

We’ll be demonstrating some remarkable new TNA projects and techniques developed for UK clients, including delivery on mobile devices.

Heading the list will be the Phones 4u 3D Academy Online, an amazing, interactive game-style environment now in use at all stores and with every item of content maintained by our client using a bespoke CMS, also developed by TNA.

As usual, when you visit the TNA stand you won’t get a heavy sales pitch. In fact you won’t really find sales people! Our stand will be run by our development team so you’ll meet the folk who would design, create and manage your project.

We look forward to meeting you on Stand 291 at Learning & Skills 2013!

H&S eLearning for Amey Contractors goes live http://www.tnanet.com/?p=140 http://www.tnanet.com/?p=140#comments Fri, 24 Aug 2012 09:44:51 +0000 chris http://www.tnanet.com/?p=140
Contractors working for Amey Built Environment on the premises of a major police force must now complete and pass an on-line Health and Safety course before arriving on site to start work.

This multimedia program covers a wide range of topics including arrival procedures, risk assessments, PPE, working at height, hot works, confined spaces, fire/emergency procedures and other risks unique to Police sites.

The emphasis is on helping Contractors to develop their own sense of safety, using interactive practice with feedback. The program also includes 360 degree hazard-spotting exercises and a TNA ‘mini LMS’ for program launching and user progress tracking.

Full details may be found under the Amey Project summary.

National Grid Gas launch TNA eLearning for new starters http://www.tnanet.com/?p=921 http://www.tnanet.com/?p=921#comments Fri, 23 Nov 2012 17:17:54 +0000 chris http://www.tnanet.com/?p=921

Five eLearning modules, produced by TNA and covering the key concepts and processes of the UK gas industry and National Grid’s role within it, are now available to all new starters at National Grid Gas Transmission.

They have been developed to replace a traditional paper-based induction programme which, while comprehensive, lacked the flexibility of an online solution which could be easily updated – an important requirement for an industry that is constantly evolving.

This suite of courses exploits the visually rich potential of the subject matter and is designed to engage the learner through stunning graphics, animations and interactions.

Full details and a selection of screen captures from this project can be found at the National Grid Gas Operations Induction project page.
